Thousands across U.S. try to sway Brewer on SB 1062

Brewer, who has until late Saturday to make her decision on Senate Bill 1062, is meeting privately today with people on both sides of the debate.
The Republican governor has not said publicly how she will act. But her recent statements seem to indicate a veto is imminent.
I assure you, as always, I will do the right thing for the State of Arizona, a tweet posted to her official Twitter account said late Tuesday.

She's apparently trying to appear thoughtful. Why on earth would she think that would appeal to her base voters?

(15,376 posts)Of course, the bill will be vetoed. Anyone who thinks it won't be has been snookered into the media-fueled "suspense" meant only to sell papers or get people to watch or listen to advertising. Enough already!

(1,731 posts)is that the sounds of dissent coming from the business community in AZ all complain about how this will hurt business. I really do not hear anyone complaining that it is just flat WRONG!
Basically, AZ (repubs) is concerned not about doing the wrong thing, but of pissing off their business supporters.
