Authorities in the Democratic Republic of Congo say two people have died from Ebola in the country's north-west.

They are the first reported Ebola cases outside West Africa since the outbreak there began, although it is not clear if they are directly linked to that outbreak.

So far 1,427 people have died from the virus.

The speed and extent of the outbreak has been "unprecedented", the World Health Organization (WHO) says.

and they will make our missile damage look like we set off mere firecrackers in comparison.

Gonna be hard to walk around with our puffed up chests telling everyone how we can whip the pants off of ISIS, or how we whipped the pants off of them, while we watch a couple hundred thousand people get sick and die.

And the thing is, it could come a year or ten years from now. These people are like teabaggers - they never see a defeat as the loss their opponents do. That gives them a great advantage as their opponents, somewhat slow on the uptake, are surprised by their next assault.

Tough to kill an idea.
