I don't buy it.

What states do that? Makes no sense for a state to do that. However, college kids can find numerous ways to get beer before they are 21 but are not clever enough to get an id to vote. Really? The problem isn't getting the id, the problem is they don't really care to get one, voting isn't that important to them.
Are you suggesting that we should not have to show any id to vote? Just go in, vote, and leave?

Kick in to the DU tip jar?

This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.

As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.

Tell me more...
