Rep. Lee Terry (R-NE) , House leaders tout GOP energy proposals, including Keystone XL pipeline

Source: Omaha World Herald

By Joseph Morton

WASHINGTON — Rep. Lee Terry, R-Neb., joined House leaders Tuesday in touting a package of GOP energy proposals.

The various bills are being rolled into one and are slated to receive a vote later this week. They include projects such as the Keystone XL pipeline.

“These 13 bills ensure that we are able to have a supply of energy and transmission and electric generation to make sure that our electric rates are affordable and reliable as well are transportation fuels,” Terry said.

The legislation will go nowhere in the Senate, but Republicans will certainly talk about the measures ahead of the coming midterm election.

—way too comfortable and confident.
It kind of makes me think that we are going to be stunned by a lot of voter irregularities and fraud this November.
