The Boston bombing was in no way a homegrown event, those two feral terrorists were chechen muslim, yemen inspired and not citizens.

The brothers who are alleged to have planted bombs near the finish line of the Boston Marathon on Monday reached the United States in 2002 after their ethnic Chechen family fled the Caucasus. They had been living in the Central Asian republic of Kyrgyzstan

Hardly homegrown for those two with their multiple cross ocean jaunts back and forth to the ME and russia, not to mention the FBI heads up by russia about their political leanings and terror ties that kind of throws Johnsons claim of 'unknown individuals' in the crapper.

However, I have difficulty understanding them as "previously unknown individuals."
