AP: Zimmerman To Be Charged With 2nd Degree Murder
George Zimmerman will be charged with second-degree murder in the shooting of unarmed Florida teen Trayvon Martin, the Associated Press reports. Both the AP and NBC News report that Zimmerman is in police custody. The charges are expected to be announced at 6 p.m. ET.
