OReilly: New York Mayor de Blasio should resign
NYC mayor is an incompetent pinhead whos lost control of the NYPD, Fox News host says
By Dylan Stableford 9 hours ago Yahoo News
A vacationing Bill OReilly called into his own Fox News show on Monday to blast New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio as a villain, as City Halls relationship with the New York City Police Department continues to deteriorate in the wake of Saturdays fatal shootings of two police officers. During the 6-minute rant, OReilly called for de Blasios immediate resignation.
He is an anti-police individual, OReilly said. Hes been anti-police his whole career. Whos his best friend? Its Al Sharpton a racial provocateur, an anti-cop individual who is de Blasios best friend. That says it all.
Now de Blasio is actually proud that he told his teenage son he may face dangers when interacting with the NYPD, the Factor host continued. What kind of responsible father tells that to his son? Then after witnessing because it was on videotape two of his police lieutenants get beaten by a mob, the mayor of New York City says it was an alleged beating. That insulted every officer. All 35,000 NYPD were insulted. Allegedly? You saw it with your own eyes, you pinhead. That was the end. When he said that, he lost the police department.
OReilly, whose grandfather was a member of the NYPD, applauded the officers who turned their backs on the mayor outside the hospital where their fellow officers were pronounced dead..............

(5,082 posts)Now he's telling a father that he shouldn't be warning his child about the dangers of the world? Any responsible parent of a Black child has to warn them about the dangers of police interaction. This isn't politics you fucking idiot...it's about protecting ones child. Someone needs to take that jerk down a few notches.
adieu
(1,009 posts)then what should we have done when 3000 New Yorkers were killed by a group that was already known and targeted for investigations, but nothing was done due to incompetence and ignorance and apathy? Who should have resigned then?
Gee, I wonder. Is there a special unit of measurement that O'Reilly uses when the government head is a democrat versus a government head who is a republican?

(45,251 posts)misdeeds by the police. Because the "only" cost of that was human, not money, which Guiliani valued more. He turned down requests for new communication equipmment that would have allowed first responders (like firefighters and cops) to communicate with each other. So, on 911, the only communication equipment first responders had enabled cops to communicate with other cops, but not also with firefighters, and vice versa. Moreover, Giuliani had been warned not to locate the city's emergency center in the Twin Towers because of a high likelihood of another attack there. Nonetheless, he did so. So, during those semi-iconic bits of video that show him walking around the area frantic shortly after the attack, he was probably desperately trying to figure out what the fuck to do with the city's emergency center gone.
Most of NY's first responders are Republican, even though their unions may still support Democrats. However, in 2008, they invited every Presidential primary hopeful to address their convention, with one exception: Giuliani.
But we know what happened after 911. The turd who employed a pedophile priest after the Roman Catholic Church defrocked him got much credit for attending funerals of first responders, even though his actions as Mayor may have increased the number of those funerals.
By the same token, I recently heard De Blasio blamed for only calling into hospitals instead of showing up there in person. (I've been really sick in a hospital. The last thing I as a patient, would have wanted was a pro forma visit from the Mayor of NYC whom I'd never met and who was there so he could score points for himself and maybe have a photo op. Not to mention that it is probably the last thing hospital staff need to contend with, especially in critical or intensive care units.) IOW, the critics are full of it.
Not one person fired but we were forced to surrender all our rights to the corporate police state and change our lives forever because of it. He put the command and control center in the WTC after we already had a terror attack there almost a decade earlier????? Something doesn't smell right.

(45,251 posts)not to put the center there. I read about it online during the 2008 primaries. It may have been the Village Voice, but I don't really remember the publication now. I just remember reading online a big piece that the Voice had done on his assholery in general. The bit about the emergency response center may or may not have been a part of that piece.

(5,082 posts)They are ones that clued me into IranContra two years before it made headlines. They exposed that Ollie North and his National Security team were coordinating large shipments of cocaine into the US for big dollars supporting their reign of terror in Latin America. They should have been put in prison for life at the very least for that while they supported locking people up for decades for a millionth of a fraction of the amounts they dealt in. I trust none of them. I truly believe they facilitated 911 to get control of our country as we were moving towards change and reform in the late 90s.

and he should direct his criticism to his fellow FOX primetime host for hyping the Bundy supporter loons who killed two cops in Vegas. Not a peep from O'Reilly on Hannity's rhetoric and claiming the gub'mint was going "to come for" Cliven and his racist band.

(1,599 posts)If Bill O'Reilly thinks the NYPD should approve all candidates for Mayor before they run, then NYC is a Fascist Police Dictatorship, not a democracy.
And we all know the reason that O'Reilly hates deBlasio because deBlasio married a black woman and has mixed-race children.
Bill O'Reilly is the incompetent pinhead, not Bill deBlasio.
