TORONTO (AP) A scandal-plagued Bill Cosby returns to the stage Wednesday night for the first time since November and his reception is certain to be mixed, with some planning protests, others vowing not to show up and still others saying they will heckle the comedian.

The three performances in Canada follow sexual assault allegations by more than 15 women and come after Cosby saw at least 10 performances get canceled on his North American tour.

The 77-year-old comedian is scheduled to appear at the Centre in the Square in Kitchener, Ontario, on Wednesday; at the Budweiser Gardens in London, Ontario, on Thursday; and at the Hamilton Place Theatre in Hamilton, Ontario, on Friday.

"I don't know how people in good conscience can go and enjoy the show," said Maureen Dragasevich.

Dragasevich, 59, said she and her family bought tickets and were once huge fans, but they're not going now.

1. Sloppy headline writing

It's worded as if it had already happened when, in fact, it hasn't happened yet. I'll be surprised if it isn't cancelled and I'll be gobsmacked if they go through with all three bookings.

2. It Does Appear To Be After-the-Fact, Doesn't It?

Perhaps the Maple Leafs lost tonight!

5. Returns is the proper usage

It's used that way in general, but also for performers of all sorts when they're coming to venues to perform, whether it be music, plays or comedians. Even more accurate if it's a venue that they've played at before, or just the city.

So, it's proper headline writing.

3. This is a hard one.

The fact that fifteen people have come forward with similar stories seems more than coincidental, but I still want to wait for a trial. The Duke case taught us a few things and, since we no longer try victims of sexual assault in the court of public opinion, we shouldn't try the accused there either. North America doesn't practice guilt by accusation.

I just pity the twelve people who end up on that jury, because it feels like the OJ trial all over again.

4. There won't be a criminal trial...the statue of limitations has long passed

The only possible trial is a civil trial and even that would be a long shot. Now if there were a more recent victim, that would change everything. Who knows......
