The OSCE monitoring mission in Ukraine reported that the situation in Donbas has deteriorated In the 24 hours preceding 08:00hrs, 9 January, military representatives of the Ukrainian and Russian parties of the mission said that they recorded 91 ceasefire violations, 50 of which were at the Donetsk airport, the OSCE mission’s report reads.

"Among the recorded incidents during this period, they said that the use of heavy weapons was particularly pronounced, with 12 cases involving the use of BM-21 Grad rockets, 19 artillery shelling incidents, and 44 uses of mortars," according to the report. Meanwhile, members of the Donetsk People’s Republic’s Defense Ministry claimed that 45 ceasefire violations were committed by the Ukrainian army.

"Over the night, the armed forces of Ukraine fired on our positions around 45 times, as well as on the Kuibyshev, Petrovsky, Telmanovsky districts of Donetsk, the airport area, and the Peski and Horlivka settlements. They fired from artillery weapons, grenade launchers, tanks and fire weapons. No data on victims has been obtained so far," a Donetsk news agency reported. Someone explain to me so I can understand. How is it that Russia is somehow negligent in influencing pro-Russian separatists in east Ukraine, when the Kiev junta’s forces are the ones shelling civilians daily? Does Germany’s Angela Merkel see something the world cannot? God only knows.

A headline this morning from the Sydney Morning Herald reads; “Angela Merkel tells Vladimir Putin: No Ukraine summit without progress on Minsk peace plan.” Excuse me? Using the Minsk peace plan agreed upon in September as an excuse, the German Chancellor has turned logic on its ear pointing the crooked finger at Putin once again. To quote the Herald story on Ukraine summit suggested by Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko; Dr Merkel’s spokesman told reporters.

The skeptical reader here is going to point to 5,000 western media stories that parrot and support the idea Putin is the aggressor here. Headlines in my country, and all over the west, they echo like some Swiss yodel over the artillery fire coming from the west. Point of fact here, British journalist Graham Phillips from Donbass shares every day the real story of east Ukraine. Why are you not listening and watching?

Graphic warning:

This video shows young Vanya, he is 8 years old. His beautiful little brother was killed in the bombing that made him a triple amputee and almost entirely blind. The bomb that was dropped on them was fired by the Ukrainian military who still continue bombing civilians. Vanya is not Russian, he was born in Ukraine. His family voted for separation from the fascist new Ukrainian government. Does that give them the right to do what they have done to this poor little boy? Where is the US media reporting on this young mans situation? Why do we in the United States receive no information on what the Kiev regime are doing to their own citizens? Face it USA we are being propagandized on a massive scale. The US is financing the Kiev battalions that did this to Vanya.

The US media is currently not covering what is going on there.

There are a lot of videos coming out within the past 12 hours proving that the Ukrainian military has commenced shelling the civilian population.

1-12.01.2015 - Donetsk - 5 Attack Videos: Shelled of Donetsk
& Gorlovka, lot of destruction, killed civilians, disrupted water &
electricity in some areas.

I'm sorry, but the MIC requires conflict at some level, some where on the planet, more or less continuously. Can you imagine what would happen to the economy of the largest arms dealer in the world if peace were to break out?

- That's what we have the CIA for. To make sure that never happens.....

Is that any different from the Ukraine's fight to prevent East Ukraine from seceding?

If it is, what is the difference? I am asking sincerely.
