BuenosAiresHerald.com journalist Damián Pachter, who left Argentina on Saturday morning after claiming he feared for his life, confirmed yesterday that he has arrived in Tel Aviv, Israel after flying from Buenos Aires.

Argentina has become a dark place led by a corrupt political system. I still havent figured out everything that has happened to me over the past 48 hours. I never imagined my return to Israel would be like this.

(5,902 posts)There's been a concerted effort by right-wing media in both Argentina and the U.S., as well as from the Likudniks currently in power in Israel, to pin Nisman's death on the Fernández de Kirchner administration. This pathetic attempt at self-victimization is just another pot shot in that direction.
Pachter never reported feeling under any kind of threat to his employer, the Buenos Aires Herald (telling them instead he had the flu when he failed to show up for work on Thursday).
