An Ugly Story About Fixing Wages in the Animation Industry..Huffi Post, and Bloomberg News:
Evidently, the Animation Industry's Giants: Pixar, Disney, Blue Sky, DreamWorks, and others ganged up to fix wages of most workers under the guise of a "no poaching agreement". This is a very complex read, but even in this so called "creative" world, the bosses do not want to pay the workers any more a few big shots decide.. A law suit is exposing this. At first it looks like something called, "poaching" but it is really about fixing the wages of many workers and eliminate wage competition. Steve Jobs, founder of Apple "helped to establish...no-poaching pact in his role as co-founder of Pixar."
First link where I discovered this was at Huffington Post under this title:
"Bombshell Documents Reveal Evidence Of Wage-Fixing By Major Hollywood Animation Studios"
but a more complete story and a history of this so called " Poaching" can be found at this link at Bloomberg News. Please go there for the information..It is quite ugly.

from the article:
"The first new complaint was filed a month later, naming DreamWorks Animation SKG Inc., Walt Disney Co. and three of its units and two Sony Corp. units as defendants. Employees of those companies alleged that Steve Jobs, who figures as a central player in the Silicon Valley case as co-founder of Apple, helped establish the animation industry no-poaching pact in his role as co-founder of Pixar.
