Demand that the major news networks cover voter suppression (PETITION)
MoveOn.org
Millions of voters around the country are denied access to the ballot box, and yet this terrifying story is rarely told on the news.
As the 2016 election campaign heats up, we demand that the major networks cover voter suppression as a prominent news story by assigning at least one reporter to a permanent "voter suppression" beat.

(5,902 posts)1. If they haven't covered black box voting all these years,
I can't hold out much hope for this.
But you never know.

I wish this petition had 50 or 75 thousand signatures on it,
but it doesn't...
(Signing it felt good anyway)

History will one day record these grass roots efforts and give them their due, however futile they may seem know.
