Excellent long article by Schiff, including historical and foreign perspectives on the challenges America faces.

Worth a read.

This is the kind of stuff that could launch Schiff into the Presidential race.

... that I hadn't seen before.

Either Schiff spent a lot of time on this or he has a great speechwriter or both. Either way he's a smart and insightful guy.

Schiff is such deep, thoughtful thinker. He somewhat reminds me of another highly respected Democratic Party statesman, George Mitchell of Maine.
