Pence's true colors on Charlottesville, "I stand with the president"
http://www.politico.com/story/2017/08/16/mike-pence-supports-trump-charlottesville-241708Vice President Mike Pence declined Wednesday to distance himself from President Donald Trumps controversial doubling down on violence that occurred at a white supremacist rally in Charlottesville, Virginia, over the weekend.
I spoke at length about this heartbreaking situation on Sunday night in Colombia, Pence told reporters during a news conference in Chile alongside President Michelle Bachelet. I stand with the president, and I stand by those words.
Pence contended he and Trump have been clear on the tragedy, though Trump initially said Saturday there was violence on many sides before cleaning up his remarks Monday, when he delivered a statement declaring racism evil and singling out hate groups by name.

He's backing the president's words. That's worse than complicit. That's being an actual racist.

Pathetic. Aren't there any Republicans with moral courage left?

(6,916 posts)3. He's a fellow white supremacist
Anyone who gives support to the presidents words now is signaling they are also white supremacists.
So, great.
The president is a white supremacist.
The vice president is a white supremacist.
And politically they're both backed by the Koches and other GOP billionaire donors.
If there was ever a time to see how little GOP billionaires care about America, this is it.
