President Trump is doubling down on his assertions that the allegations against Supreme Court nominee Brett Kavanaugh are a “con job” by Democrats during a Wednesday afternoon press conference, but seemed to leave open the possibility of withdrawing Kavanaugh’s nomination should he become convinced the allegations are true.

Asked whether the three women accusing Kavanaugh of sexual assault are lying, he said, “I won’t get into that game,” saying instead that he would make up his mind upon hearing the testimony of Christine Blasey Ford before the Senate Judiciary Committee Thursday.

“This is one of the highest quality people that I’ve ever met,” Trump said about Kavanaugh.

“It’s possible that they will be convincing,” Trump said. “I can always be convinced. I have to hear it.”

Trump was speaking during a rare solo news conference after a day of meetings at the UN in New York, and just hours after a third woman came forward to accuse Kavanaugh of sexual assault when he was a young man...

shoved her against a wall in a sexual manner in 1998, when he was age 33.

I never liked him, from the early days. Full of himself, the ego, arrogance and cool, nice guy act.

I still find his LPs pretty darn funny and I did like him and Robert Culp in I Spy. His movies were crap and Dr Huxtable was pretty unwatchable. The Jello commercials were hokey.

8. The more I read, with remarks by pros on TV, the rush

is to get this over with. The GOP has been informed about the new, growing allegations coming out every day. So Plan B, regroup and start with another nominee (who's probably already selected). There are many candidates to choose from according to people from both sides.

A horrible ordeal, for the women, their families and friends. And for American democracy and justice.
