Former top Scott Walker appointee quits $208K job in disgust and destroys his ex-boss on the way out
Tom Boggioni
18 Oct 2018 at 13:12 ET A former top secretary for Gov. Scott Walker (R-WI) ripped into the embattled governor on Thursday after stepping down from his high-paying job late Wednesday so he could speak freely about his contempt for the man who appointed him. According to the Wisconsin State-Journal, Paul Jadin, the first CEO of the Wisconsin Economic Development Corp., walked away from the $208,000 salary he was paid by Madison Region Economic Partnership on Wednesday because he was about to go public with his complaints about Walker. In a scathing letter co-signed by former Corrections Secretary Ed Wall and former Financial Institutions Secretary Peter Bildsten, Jadin slammed the governor for making decisions based solely on increasing his national political profile while ignoring the needs of his constituents. All three men endorsed Walker’s opponent, State Superintendent Tony Evers, a Democrat. https://www.rawstory.com/2018/10/former-top-scott-walker-appointee-quits-208k-job-disgust-destroys-ex-boss-way/

1. Something's wrong here
If I read the article correctly this guy has been in his position for several years. Now he quits? Now he's criticizing his boss?

8. The timing is curious
Election year and Walker is behind. I don't follow WI politics as closely as its residents but I don't know of anything really new he has done that is not consistent with his stated objectives.

Roads and so several former top cabinet level supporters who have been troubled have started to go public

5. I love seeing the "Young Guns" of the GOP all flaming the F out...
Walker in WI...
Ryan as speaker... Chaffetz leaving Congress...and STILL stepping in it anyway... Rubio marginalized and barely hanging on to relevance in the GOP... All of them had designs on the bigger jobs and longer tenures and all of them were full of shit from day one...seeing them all on the outs or about to be sort of warms my heart! |

6. Walker's trailing by 10 points, so this guy is out of a job anyway
The rats are deserting the sinking ship because the Democrats are about to win. They might as well get their complaints about Walker on the record while they still can.

12. Don't bad mouth Walker,...
Go down to the governor's mansion with a saber saw and chase Walker around the place and cut off a couple of fingers and maybe a limb.
This is the new Rethug way to settle a problem or a dispute. This is the way to make a Fascist Rethug finger,.. toe,.. arm,... and a leg - the line ![]() ![]() ![]() |
