In his conduct of the office of President of the United States, Richard M. Nixon, contrary to his oath faithfully to execute the office of President of the United States and, to the best of his ability, preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States, and in violation of his constitutional duty to take care that the laws be faithfully executed, has failed without lawful cause or excuse to produce papers and things as directed by duly authorized subpoenas issued by the Committee on the Judiciary of the House of Representatives on April 11, 1974, May 15, 1974, May 30, 1974, and June 24, 1974, and willfully disobeyed such subpoenas. The subpoenaed papers and things were deemed necessary by the Committee in order to resolve by direct evidence fundamental, factual questions relating to Presidential direction, knowledge or approval of actions demonstrated by other evidence to be substantial grounds for impeachment of the President. In refusing to produce these papers and things Richard M. Nixon, substituting his judgment as to what materials were necessary for the inquiry, interposed the powers of the Presidency against the the lawful subpoenas of the House of Representatives, thereby assuming to himself functions and judgments necessary to the exercise of the sole power of impeachment vested by the Constitution in the House of Representatives.

In all of this, Richard M. Nixon has acted in a manner contrary to his trust as President and subversive of constitutional government, to the great prejudice of the cause of law and justice, and to the manifest injury of the people of the United States.

1. Nixon wilfully disobeyed Congressional subpoenas and back then,

Republicans had spines and were willing to impeach him. He resigned only because he saw that he had no other way out.

Today the Reps, with just 1 exception, are corrupt, compromised, and/or cowardly.

Republicans continued to back Nixon. It took 2 long years to reach the point Republicans turned on Nixon.

Each day more facts are exposed as Democrats follow the Law step by step. Schiff and Nadler know exactly what they are doing. There are many good Attorneys and Prosecutors who know what they are doing.

Barr caved, he knew he had met his match. This is not an Iran/ Contra cover up this time. They are daling with Russian interference in our election, massive fraud on the part of Trump and those around him. I am quite willing to wait.

Am getting impatient, with those who are impatient.

No case is set in motion with out steps! Takes time to get all the ducks in a row.

I noticed yesterday Lindsey Graham could not even look Reporters in the eye. It was a telling moment. I was on the phone, we both agreed how his eyes shifted but never met the Reporters eyes, kept them down. Lindsey is an attorney. He knows what is taking place. His bluster was gone.

It began when he invited Jared and Ivanka to the McCain funeral after the family had made it clear
They did not want them.

I first noticed it at the Funeral when the camera focused on him. He was so nervous, eyes darting all over. This was before I knew he had invited them. Suddenly he did a 180, became very erratic in his behavior. Tirades.

I understand Lindsey is being investigated on irregular campaign funds.

8. True, but the evidence of Nixon's personal knowledge wasn't known until late in the game.

He long contended that others had orchestrated the Watergate break-in without his knowledge.

There was not a mountain of evidence that Nixon had committed other crimes until the obstruction of evidence became obvious and people became disgusted that a president had lied.

Trump by contrast lies regularly about everything and these Republicans don't care. They don't care that he's kowtowing to Putin and has done nothing to stop Russia from stealing another election. They don't care about his crooked financial dealings, his paying hush money to silence a porn star which we now know he personally approved of, and they don't care that his many minions were meeting with Russians and gleefully eager to accept stolen dirt on Clinton and hacked DNC emails - the electronic equivalent of Watergate, which was info stolen from Dem HQ by burglars the old-fashioned way. There have been all kinds of court findings of wrongdoing ie shutting down the Trump Foundation, findings that Trump University defrauded students, evidence of money laundering, money from Russian mobsters, etc. to send off alarm bells in anyone not on the take themselves.
