from Wes Clark

My heart goes out to the men and women I served with, and their families, and especially those who gave their lives, in training and in war... a soldier accidentally shot by his best friend in the barracks at Fort Carson, 1981, observer/controller Frank King, killed at NTC in 1984, young soldiers who died in training accidents at NTC and Fort Carson, (from 2-34 and 4-40 Armor) in 1986 and 1987, then men lost in accidents during the campaign to end ethnic cleansing in Kosovo, including a Navy pilot and two Apache pilots. These men were killed by hostile fire, but they
volunteered, they served honorably, and they are worthy of our highest respect. #MemorialDay
