White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham told "FOX & Friends" Monday morning, that she will not hold traditional press briefings "right now" because it "had become a lot of just theater" and "a lot of reporters were doing it to… get famous."

“He’s his own best spokesperson… also, he’s the most accessible president in history,” Grisham said about President Trump.

“They’re writing books now, they’re all getting famous off of this presidency, so I think it’s great what we’re doing now,” Grisham added.

Co-host Brian Kilmeade asked Grisham how Trump reacted to the way former press secretaries Sean Spicer and Sarah Sanders were treated by critics like NBC's "Saturday Night Live."

"I think it’s so important that the spokesperson for the president can adequately speak to his policies and get his message out there. I think the president saw that that’s not what was happening," Grisham said. "It had become, again, theater, and they weren’t being good to his people. He doesn’t like that. He’s very loyal to his people, and he put a stop to it."

... change her title. "Press Secretary" is not appropriate for someone who has stopped talking to the press. I believe "Minister of Propaganda" would be a fitting title.

Watch any of the former press secretaries -- even those for Republican presidents -- to see how real professionals handle their job. Hell, even C.J. Craig (Allison Janney) of "The West Wing" did a better job in the real press room.

Trump changes his stories so quickly StephG can't keep up with his lies.

What bothers them most is fact checking, and a press briefing asks enables the reporters to ask the PS follow up questions. No, what bothers them most is the possibility of being caricatured on SNL. Trump and his minions have no ability to laugh at themselves.

As in all things with Trump, there is no "team" in "I."
