Truth Sandwich, by George Lakoff:

As the crucial 2020 election ramps up, we'll need ways to protect the truth from what will surely be an onslaught of lies and distractions. One way to respond to lies is with the Truth Sandwich. It allows you to put the lie in context, and to address the lie without helping to spread it. More ideas coming soon.

Truth Sandwich:
1. Start with the truth. The first frame gets the advantage.
2. Indicate the lie. Avoid amplifying the lie if possible.
3. Return to the truth. Always repeat truths more than lies.

Can you provide a couple of examples so we can get the hang of this technique and start using it? I heard about it on the podcast.
