I suppose it depends on who you ask, but it sure is a good question with this impeachment, isn’t it?

The argument that Democrats are trying to “undo” the 2016 election is certifiable bullshit. These same people who walk around waving their pocket constitutions and still making this argument need to Read The [Friendly] Manual.

If Trump is removed from office, Pence takes over. Nothing changes. Hillary Clinton does not become President. No policy that Trump put into place automatically changes. No law passed becomes repealed. No Supreme Court justice is stripped of his seat on the bench.

All that happens is the Mike Pence becomes the President.

2. Pence is all of that and more but he is the epitome of the GOP,they want the blame on tRump not them

The piece is about why the Pukes don't want Pence to be president rather they want tRump to do their dirty work. Since tRump is not really a conservative or even a republican they can disavow him come when the shit hits the fan.

So, Republicans get him to implement every one of their worst policies. The ones they know that the public would never agree to: destroying environmental protections, imprisoning children after ripping them from the arms of their parents, dismantling Social Security and Medicare, isolating the US from the rest of the world. Betsy DeVos and Elaine Chao can buy another yacht and have it gilded, all on the taxpayer dime. Scott Pruitt and Andrew Wheeler and Ajit Pai can make every dream their corporate friends back in the private sector ever had come true. And they can stack the federal bench with activist judges who will uphold it all.

Because Trump isn’t afraid to grab every third rail of politics like it’s a woman he’s not married to.

And the Republican establishment that has entrenched itself in power can wash their hands of him when the bill finally comes due. They can cash out on the tax bills they’ve passed to enrich themselves at the public expense, and go live in their private estates protected from the rest of us schmucks, because it’ll all be Trump’s fault, not theirs. Trump has made sure of it: remember how he’s the only one who can “fix” America.

They can’t do that with Pence. They can’t disown him when it all inevitably turns to shit, because he’s been a loyal card-carrying member for decades. He’s been a true believer the whole time. He has the bona fides and the history.
