Just a note on selection...I don't post them if I don't think they're clever/too shit stirring and some cartoonists are harder to copy/find than others.

(36,988 posts)In DU2 when I use the tool bar in Safari to enlarge text, it enlarges the text and picture, which helps view some of the small text in a toon. In DU3 the toon is not enlarged enough to where I can see its text as easily, but the following text by an OP is.
In a Tom Tomorrow tune this is especially important feature
Toons are one my favorite threads on DU.
Anyway great choice of toons thanks.

(27,709 posts)I tried seeing it was any better in Firefox by zooming. I also tried to use Preview to do this and it just got really blurry.
The basic problem is that you're looking at an image (now you could use photoshop if you were to have it by chance), but even easier is to create a photobucket account (it's free and great for putting all images/photos onto DU) to view and edit images. Drag the image (which is really easy to since you seem to be using a Mac like me) onto your desktop, upload the image to your album, and then choose to edit the image by moving your mouse over it and selecting edit. Photobucket has two editing modes, one is a real options and the other is complex, then either increase the size of the image or put into full screen.
You can also do this basic process with iPhoto, which you probably have as part of your normal Mac applications package. By using iPhoto to open the jpg and then increasing size and/or viewing in fullscreen.
http://photobucket.com/ is great for uploading images to the internet, and it's how I and I'd imagine most of the posters here put images on DU because it recodes the image to a unique link so you're not violating copyright.
Good luck! PM me if you have trouble or further questions.

Besides, I talking about viewing your toons not posting them.
I enlarge them to view the text sometimes in the toons.
Can't do that on DU3,
Its a bug.

(36,988 posts)is in ones user profile change to classic view. It helps but its still not as good as DU2 to view toons. ..
I will report this, other old farts in DU2 also report that DU3
is not to the same standard
for us with tired old eyes.
the classic view helped though

(27,709 posts)I switched to it right away. Before that I was kinda like this is hard to read. Good to see it has other benefits.
