Let's get realistic about this election, people

Trump isn't going to win unless there is massive voter fraud, hacked machines and all of that. So that's where the focus needs to be, preventing that sort of thing.

Otherwise, if you look at the groundwork Democrats have laid the past three years, you can see where this is headed. The blue wave just keeps on rolling.

1. I agree. But not sure how we keep out

Hackers and changing votes machines.
How we find missing ballots. How we stop over ballots that numbers donít match voters.

4. there aren't that many states...

that use computerized voting without paper, and in some states they actually do a sample audit of the vote following every election. If interested, there are ways to make our elections safe and secure, but states, and the people who live in them have no desire to make sure their votes are counted. I called my SOS office years ago, asking about a random audit of a percentage of the vote. They had no idea what I was talking about, and told me having paper ballots was enough, and I've never called back. The state I live in has never had problematic elections, but that means nothing.

2. Check your voter registration status every few weeks leading up to the election.

Make sure its valid. People trying to suppress the vote will target minorities. But if voter information such as who is and is not a Democrat is available, they may target everyone.

I re-checked my registration status a few weeks ago; I'm good.

3. It won't take "massive voter fraud" for Trump to "win".

It will only take just enough tampering in the key swing states and BAM, four more miserable years.

6. There is almost zero chance of significant voter fraud.

However, there will almost certainly be plenty of election fraud; the GOP has been ramping it up since at least 2000.

Please pay attention to the extremely important distinction between the two terms. "Voter fraud" is a largely fictitious notion used by the GOP as an excuse to commit voter suppression; the concept is that large numbers of voters are risking jail to vote illegally. "Election fraud" on the other hand, is a big piece of GOP strategy; it includes hacking machines, hiding ballots, cooking up extra ballots, and so on.

Voter Fraud is retail and vanishingly rare.
Election Fraud is wholesale and very common in the GOP.

7. Agreed

Voter fraud is rare. Election fraud is not. Expect it from the Republicans full throttle.
