John Dean: Nixon was 'corrupt,' but Trump is 'evil' 11/4/2018

"Trump’s is making the long nightmare of Nixon’s Watergate seem like a brief idyllic daydream," Dean tweeted late Saturday night. "History will treat Nixon’s moral failures as relatively less troubling than Trump’s sustained and growing decadence, deviousness and self-delusive behavior. Nixon=corrupt; Trump=evil."

8. Dubya was Cheney's puppet, just like Trump is Putin's.

Cheney was an advocate of the "unitary executive" theory, which posits that the Constitution gives the president the power to control the entire executive branch. The doctrine is rooted in Article II of the United States Constitution, which vests "the executive power" of the United States in the President.

Without explicitly naming it, Trump's frequently repeated stated, "Article II gives me the right to do whatever I want, I just choose not to do it," is likewise based on this expansive reading of our founding document. He never used this term at all during his first year in office, but then like a child playing with a new toy he talks about it all the time. Clearly someone told him about the unitary president theory, which plays directly into his megalomania.

Syracuse University law professor William Banks has said Trump’s comments were an affront to “basic points that every schoolchild learns in civics.” Referring to Article II, Banks added, “It’s certainly not a grant of unlimited power. He’s not a monarch, he’s the chief executive … and he’s bound to uphold the rule of law.”

Unitary executive is the underlying belief that results in Trump's use of signing statements, like the one he used to negate the section on Congressional oversight of the distribution of the $2 trillion he just signed into law.

Is corruptly installed as an illegitimate president. Everyone can see him daily prove that. Even his supporters , which some I know have turned against him for it now. If the Nov. election isn't corrupted trump will suffer the largest loss ever in our history, then he'll really try to hurt us all for it. Its coming. Those with power should be really ready against him when he does lose, he'll really show how evil he is.

Nixon was deeply evil to his core.

This was the bombing of Cambodia from 18 March 1969 to 26 May 1970 during which the United States dropped 2.7 million tons of bombs on Cambodia, exceeding by almost one million tons the total dropped on Japan during the Second World War, including the bombs that were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
