Trump is insane: And it's time for leading Democrats to say that out loud
Rational Americans already understand that our president is mentally ill. Will Democrats ever speak truth to power?


Psychologists warn of the deadly consequences of the "silent partner" in abusive homes. When a father beats or sexually assaults a child, the family will often react by refusing to discuss the abuse, allowing silence to enable the predator and protect against confronting a reality that is too painful and frightening. 

The United States of America is now an abusive household. Donald Trump is the lunatic authority figure stalking and traumatizing the victims — the American people — while the Democratic Party, along with the mainstream media, act as the silent partner.

It becomes increasingly evident, with Trump's every social media post, public utterance and policy directive, that our president suffers from a severe form of mental illness. 1. "It's time"??? *now* it's time???

He's been obvious mentally ill and horribly abusive for well over four years now.

Some of us basically said so, Hillary even managed to find a diplomatic way to alert us to the dangers in the debates.

But the media remains, to this day, too fascinated in watching the ever-more excruciating train wreck that is Donnie and the Republican Party to really object to any of this in anything remotely like the way they routinely crush the careers of Democrats who make even one minor slip-up.

If they ever allow a Democrat to call donnie nuts, they'll "balance" it with a shouting match if republicans saying the same thing about Biden despite the complete lack of facts.

2. My two brothers and I figured out trump years ago.

There is nothing he can do that surprises us. Our mother, still causing trouble at age 91, is insane. She is a malignant narcissist. She lies, abuses us and does whatever she pleases. Somehow, there are many people in our lives who refuse to see this.

Our dad was her enabler. He never faced the truth.

All three of us have been damaged. We have had therapy. We have learned to distance ourselves. Of the three of us, my middle brother listens to her phone calls most often. I keep her appraised of family news and visit infrequently. I am never alone with her. Even at her advanced age, she could turn on me and create trouble.

These types of people often worm their way out of trouble all their lives. Even if we get him out of office, trump will get away with most of what he wants.

3. trump is insane, and he's trying to kill us all.

We need something done about this by Democratic officials. It's way past time to use the 25th Amendment.
