(17,505 posts)"Sndy in pk w/ George"
But I find the Edwards bashing to be a little overblown and kinda boring. Especially since the prosecutor seems to be just as bad and phony if not more.

(47,953 posts)Is it just the Mormon aspect of Mittens? Because I can't believe he would be fine with Mitten's policies.

(26,906 posts)"Id rather have a Democrat but I would be comfortable I think Romney has shown in the past, in his previous years as a moderate or progressive, that he was fairly competent as a governor and also running the Olympics."
So as you can see he isnt doing a Zell Miller/ Joe Lieberman of grabbing a knife and betraying the democrats like those two did hes just saying that worst case scenario that if Obama was to lose to a republican that he could atleast tolerate Romney more than the other republican candidates.

(47,953 posts)And frankly, after reading that statement I am still irritated at JC. No Democrat should be 'comfortable' with the idea of Mittens in the Oval Office.
even I would be more comfortable with him than any of the others though I wont be voting for him because right now we have a decent democrat in the office of president, what we need now is a solid majority of democrats in the house that can override any filibuster attempts by the republicans.
And I dont mean a majority based around idiots like Lieberman who will betray the party if they dont get their own way.
