1. Nice, but there is a distinct absence of older women--like my 65 year old ER nurse sister & her
colleagues, as well as many of my own--all working through the horrifically long hours and hardships. I might add doing that while the general public yells, screams, and threatens them when they are required to wear a mask or wait outside...
There are lots of older high-risk people working in all kinds of "essential fields right now-- from grocery workers to transport workers, EMT's to food delivery workers, physicians to truck drivers. These young women are deserving, have great stories, and are, perhaps more photogenic than the older workers for a spread like "In-Style." But these older workers, particularly women in health care are out there working through COVID-19 at even greater personal risk to themselves. It behooves us all not to allow them to ignored for all they do. |

2. Perhaps you can communicate with Instyle about these...
fabulous older women ( as I am one! 😜 Just not a health/essential worker sadly) It’s a great idea. Write to them! Please.
I wholeheartedly agree our brave older women need championed, too! I’m glad to see any of these amazing women recognized❤️ |

3. speaking of awesome women, tune in PBS tonight (July 10)
for their American Masters series. This one is "Unladylike2020" about pioneering women in American politics who advocated for suffrage and civil rights.
The American Masters series is really good. Caught the one on Mae West recently and it was outstanding. |
