Donald Trump Jr's new anti-Biden book misplaces apostrophe in title
Liberal Privilege, which he is self-publishing in August, is subtitled Joe Biden and the Democrats Defense of the Indefensible

Donald Trump Jr appears to have forgotten one of the cardinal rules of the apostrophe: it comes after the s when the possessive noun is plural.
The American presidents sons forthcoming book, Liberal Privilege, is subtitled Joe Biden and the Democrats Defense of the Indefensible. Unless Trump Jr is referring to only one Democrat, then the apostrophe needs to shift one place to the right to make the title grammatically correct.
The book is out in August. Trump Jr said on Twitter that he had been working on it during the last few months of quarantine, and that he was blown away by what Biden has gotten away with.
Libs, he added, are already triggered by the book.
But Trump Jr was careful to share only a small portion of the books cover on Twitter, after Axios broke the news about the title, and he was mocked for the grammar error. His previous book, Triggered, was a New York Times No 1 bestseller, but sales were reported to have been boosted by bulk orders from the Republican National Committee.

(4,121 posts)is that Im not a Trump. For all their trappings of success they are, to a person, just about the most miserable lot imaginable.
They never learned how to human.

(21 posts)His first book was a "New York Times Bestseller" with an asterisk. Which means most of the copies were bulk buys. Which means he simply bought enough copies himself to make it to the NY list. I think that may be the definition of a sad loser.

Or maybe its just a sign of how dumb everyone around Trump is. That is also a strong possibility.

(46,080 posts)1. The "book" is likely ghostwritten. Like his Tweets, F/B, and his last "book" Triggered.
2. Obviously not edited properly.
3. Rushed to publication, i.e., self-published. Either that or turned down by major commercial publishers.
4. He's making himself a target for Mary Trump when she does interviews for her book.
5. About the beard: He's copying the "look" of Jerry Falwell, Jr.

(639 posts)While printing a book needs paper and ink and bindery, the content is something the mechanical printing processes cannot fix.
Every book publisher has a team of editors to check for proper grammar, spelling and ( in most acses) the accuracy of 'declarative statements of fact' contained therein.
This publisher, whom I have no interest in even finding out who they actually are, has placed an albatross around the neck of this one publication by overlooking the single most important step, in publishing any book.
That it can be read in the language it is printed in.
But I can suppose that this book's target audience will only look at the picture parts and not read the word parts.
(NOTE: I did not know that Donny Jr is the publisher, he did not use a real publisher, so that may explain why it was not 'proof read' or edited.)
