At the conclusion of the interview, Wallace asked Trump how he will regard his years as president.

“I think I was very unfairly treated,” Trump responded. “From before I even won, I was under investigation by a bunch of thieves, crooks. It was an illegal investigation.”

When Wallace interrupted, trying to get Trump to focus on the positive achievements of his presidency—“What about the good parts, sir?”—Trump brushed the question aside, responding, “Russia, Russia, Russia.” The president then complained about the Flynn investigation, the “Russia hoax,” the “Mueller scam” and the recusal by his then-attorney general, Jeff Sessions. (“Now I feel good, because he lost overwhelmingly in the great state of Alabama,” Trump said about the first senator to endorse him in the 2016 Republican primary.)

Donald Trump is a psychologically broken, embittered, and deeply unhappy man. He is so gripped by his grievances, such a prisoner of his resentments, that even the most benevolent question from an interviewer—what good parts of your presidency would you like to be remembered for?—triggered a gusher of discontent.

trump has no cognitive awareness...he self interprets his incompetence and stupidity as "stable genius"...and because he is a hate filled paranoid narcissistic sociopath he rages at what he perceives as the hordes of enemies determined to destroy him (Democrats) ..and those lesser beings blind to his magnificence (blacks/hispanics/jews/muslims/Native Americans/asians/the poor/the disabled)...he's not a complicated man..there are no layers to him...he's a malignant stain....

2. broken things need to fixed or dumped

since he can't be and isn't worth fixing, he needs to be dumped. broken things can be dangerous and fuck up other working things. they need to be taken out of service quickly!

him so easy to manipulate. Yet he's blind to how he's been used. But it also makes him so easy to trigger, and we've begun to use that to our advantage.

He wasn’t a complete human being at all. He was a tiny bit of one, unnaturally developed: something in a bottle, an organ kept alive in a laboratory. I thought he was a sort of primitive savage, but he was something absolutely modern and up-to-date that only this ghastly age could produce. A tiny bit of a man pretending he was whole.

And if there had to be city walls, the walls had doors and the doors were open to anyone with the will and the heart to get here. That’s how I saw it, and see it still.”


Every Republican should read that over a couple of dozen times. I did not at all like Reagan, but that is a beautiful sentiment.

is that he is not very happy. I am comforted that I have seldom seen him smile, or say he likes something. I know it is not good for me to wish misery on another creature...but geez Louise!

It is nearly impossible to blow a question like that, leave it to Trump to find a way.
