It's to the campaign's advantage to let the suspense play out. Give the candidates good exposure and announce the pick at a strategically advantageous time. At this point it's all about show and exposure leading up to the convention.

She asked him about choosing a woman of colour for VP, and he said there were excellent candidates among the 6 being considered.

The list of names I posted is based on people who have acknowledged they were going through the 6 week vetting process.
