"Trumps approval rating recovered from a modest June/July drop, settling at 43% for the month. August marked the 32nd consecutive month that Trumps approval rating fell in the 40-45% range. This level does not bode well for his re-election prospects. Only George W. Bush won re-election with less than a 50% approval rating a figure Trump has yet to attain and Bushs was 48%. The rating of Trumps handling of the coronavirus leveled off at 40%, just below his approval rating.
