North Carolina Attorney General addresses Louis DeJoy's campaign finance crimes

https://www.palmerreport.com/analysis/north-carolina-attorney-general-addresses-louis-dejoys-campaign-finance-felonies/32153/

Earlier today the Washington Post exposed Trump Postmaster Louis DeJoy’s decade-long scheme of pressuring his employees into donating to the Republican party, and then illegally reimbursing them through company bonuses. This is the kind of criminal scheme that people definitely go to prison for.

Trump’s corrupt Attorney General Bill Barr may try to block the DOJ from bringing a federal case against DeJoy, but that can’t stop North Carolina Attorney General Josh Stein from bringing his own criminal case on state charges. Stein issued this statement today:

My statement on today’s @washingtonpost story “Louis DeJoy’s rise as GOP fundraiser was powered by contributions from co. workers who were later reimbursed, former employees say”:

It is against the law to directly or indirectly reimburse someone for a political contribution. Any credible allegations of such actions merit investigation by the appropriate state and federal authorities. Beyond this, it would be inappropriate for me as Attorney General to comment on any specific matter at this time.
