'Make Liberals Cry,' read a Trumpist sign; why we do

God finally let His feelings on Trump be known when He sank those rally-boats.

Knowing Trumpists, by nature, would ignore sensible rules and be unconcerned for fellow boaters, creating undrained swamping was easy. “Make Liberals Cry,” said a sign on one of them. Ironic. Rather than feeling concerned for the lost boats, though, let’s agree all boats matter and move on (Facebook: tinyurl.com/swampthedrain).

Speaking of BLM, responding to last week’s column, a reader renamed it “Behave Like Monkeys.” On lake and land, one’s impression of Trumpists is confirmed.

Are blind racism and curated hate for liberals enough to justify voting for a flag-hugging faker who considers our troops “losers,” especially those who were captured or killed? Do loyalists believe his denials despite his being on record calling John McCain one? When even Fox “news” confirms the reporting, citing “impeccable sources”? Better known for the peccable kind, Fox’s corroboration is compelling.

If the only thing that gives one's life meaning is pissing others off that individual doesn't have much of a life.

They intentionally say outrage and stupid things to try to get us to react to them. When you stay calm and talk with them, they lose interest.

I spend quite a bit of time in northeastern California. It’s a beautiful part of the state but it is economically depressed and about as Red as you can get.

We went to a small nearby town, used to be a logging community but that was a long time ago. On one of the side streets there was a dilapidated house, paint peeling, dusty yard. Nailed above the front door was a big sign - Trump 2020. Make Liberals Cry.

That’s what it’s about for these folks. They will vote against their best interests for a man who would never bother to give them the time of day because it might make random people they don’t even know unhappy.

He hates the same people they do and validates their hatred.

5. I've come to the conclusion that with the exception of the very wealthy Trump supporters,

pissing off the libs is a big part of the motivation and appeal of the rest of his supporters.

They HATE us. They hate us more than they like things that make their life good and easy. I don't get it, but I have three in my family & I have nothing to do with them. I saw one at a family event a few years ago & I ignored him. When he came my way I walked the other way. The stuff he posts on his FB page, the things he believes, it's embarrassing and shameful. Don't post nasty, hateful memes about democrats and then think you're going to play nice with me at a family event when everybody's looking. ~insert flip-the-bird smilie here.
