No, the Democrats Haven't Gone Over the Edge

No, the Democrats Haven’t Gone Over the Edge
The party still has a strong vibrant center.

You may not have heard of Kilmer or even the New Democrat Coalition. The media wing of the Republican Party wants to pretend that A.O.C., the Squad, Bernie Sanders and Elizabeth Warren are the Democratic Party because it wants you to think Democrats are a bunch of socialists.

Progressive Twitter is far to the left of the actual Democratic Party and it also emphasizes A.O.C., Sanders and Warren because that’s what makes its heart flutter. Even the mainstream media pays far more attention to the Squad than to Kilmer or moderates like Abigail Spanberger.

This week a thoughtful scholar at the American Enterprise Institute, Danielle Pletka, fell for the mirage. She wrote an op-ed for The Washington Post in which she disdained President Trump but said she would have to vote for him because the Democrats have moved so far left.

Pletka’s essay kicked up a storm, but usefully raised the question: Where exactly is the Democratic Party?

My Favorite quote ::
"Right now, Republicans are a culture war identity movement that suppresses factional disagreement and demands total loyalty to Trump."

1. So, even The Ever-Fatuous David Brooks is on our side now...?

I guess you take whatever allies you can get, but be aware that, should Biden win in November, he'll be the first to denounce him if the new President adopts an agenda one millimeter to the left of Reagan and the Bushes.

no longer exists but he has to hold his nose every time he admits that Our choices are our only choices and they are Democratic leaders. He's having a hard time getting that affluenza tainted skin to peel off. Takes some more admission to slide out of it into a new reality.

David Brooks media bias rating is Lean Right.
According to Wikipedia, David Brooks "is an American conservative political and cultural commentator who writes for The New York Times.

Pletka’s essay kicked up a storm, but usefully raised the question: Where exactly is the Democratic Party?

Brooks just couldn't help adding his pathetic 2 cents in summing up another hit piece on the Democratic Party.

Just couldn't help it Because casting a dark shadow on the only Party who has any chance of salvaging this nation's people from life under the cruelty of dictatorial rule, is Why He Writes What He Does.

"Where exactly is the Democratic Party"

He promoted Pletka's story for a reason. And bets are, he did so with gleeful satisfaction .

Any writing from David Brooks shouldn't be given the space on a Democratic site.
However he tries to appear neutral.
He can't.

4. If the Democratic Party is The Squad (which incluces AOC), Bernie Sanders, and Elizabeth Warren,

then why did the Dems nominate a Moderate like Joe Biden? Danielle Pletka is full of crap. However, since she's from the American Enterprise Institute, that is to be expected.
