If the Supreme Court Ends Obamacare, Here's What It Would Mean

https://www.nytimes.com/article/supreme-court-obamacare-case.html

The Affordable Care Act touches the lives of most Americans, and its abolition could have a significant effect on many millions more people than those who get their health coverage through it. Many millions more people would be affected by such a ruling than those who rely on the law for health insurance. Its many provisions touch the lives of most Americans, from nursing mothers to people who eat at chain restaurants.
133 MILLION. Americans with protected pre-existing conditions
21 MILLION. People who could lose their health insurance
12 MILLION. Adults who could lose Medicaid coverage
800,000. People with opioid addiction getting treatment through Medicaid
165 MILLION. Americans who no longer face caps on expensive treatments
60 MILLION. Medicare beneficiaries would face changes to medical care and possibly higher premiums
2 MILLION. Young adults with coverage through their parents’ plans
$50 BILLION. Medical care for the uninsured could cost billions more

Are psychopaths and like watching other people suffer get traumatized and die. I think that's why they want to kill the ACA .

They like commiting murder by proxy.

Likely too expensive to cover the lifetime health issues.

And they're scared b/c there's uncertainty due to the USSC review, with the possibility of the program suddenly ending in the middle of the year. Leaving them hanging. Insurance companies don't like uncertainty. They don't want to lose money.

So, don't be shocked and surprised in November when it's time to renew your coverage. It might be higher than this year. A bit higher.

I always believed that Roberts' deciding vote in favor of ACA was political, and it was cast by him as a means of ending all talk of single payer for at least a generation. In his ruling, he was eyeing to make it his legacy.

I am sure all the conservative justices are aware that declaring Obamacare unconstitutional will open the door wide open for a single payer system, especially if (or when) the dems gain majority in both Houses. Moreover, it will hit every conservative politician very hard with their constituents who will lose coverage, and there are literally tens of millions of them. As improbable as it may sound, I would wager that Roberts will fight tooth and nail to keep ACA.
