US Commerce Committee looking into Rupert Murdoch's News Corp

According to the British news giant, the Guardian, the Senate committee on commerce, science and transportation chaired by Jay Rockefeller (D), WV, has been in correspondence with Lord Justice Leveson asking if the British judicial inquiry has discovered evidence of illegal practices undertaken by News Corporation in the United States.

Senator Rockefeller has sent an official request for information on Murdoch's News Corporation dated May 2, 2012.

1. On May 2nd? This is THE BEST birthday present I've gotten so far!

My deep dislike for this so-called News Corporation is finally getting some satisfaction that the U.S. Commerce Committee is seriously looking into taking down Murdoch's propaganda empire.

Of course, it had to be a Democrat to do it. I'm not surprised, but I am happy since I'm a Democrat, too! May my birthday wish, to see News Corp taken down, come true.
