As outlandish as the claims propagated by QAnon followers are, the movement has become an undeniable threat heading into the 2020 election and beyond. The Federal Bureau of Investigation considers QAnon a potential source of domestic terrorism and a few of its followers have been spurred by the conspiracy theory to engage in violent criminal activity—even murder.
