Biden Doesn't need to cut direct payments

It makes me feel like I'm not a full citizen of this country when politicians of all strips begin to cut things such as the part of Biden's 1.9 trillion dollar stimulus plan. I really could use even more than the now threatened $1400 direct stimulus check having been fully disabled now for over 10 years.

Biden and the democrats don't need to play nice with their opposites. They are in charge fully and should act and proceed with the stimulus package and increasing the direct payments to $2000 for the next year. But of course I am dreaming...

Give the full amount out, then, when it comes tax time, if the IRS determines you truly did not need it, based on income, etc, then the IRS claws it back.
