Beating Voter Suppression Laws
It can be done. Democrats need to organize, register, register, register, go to the polls no matter what and keep up the pressure.

1. If they can make sure nobody is getting water in long poll lines, then those lines need not exist
Ban em.

4. Exactly the right question to ask
of your state Democratic party. Let's get this movement going, it will take grass roots effort. If there's not a place to volunteer already, make one.

3. The evening before the election, set out cases and cases of water without labels
and in unmarked boxes. That way no one is handing water to people who are in line (they don't become voters until they enter the polling place and sign in). Then take videos of the Repug-fascists removing the water and get their asses arrested for theft.
Make their "poll watchers" have to prove their citizenship with a birth certificate; a driver's license isn't enough. Also, make them prove their legal right to be there asking questions. Have our own list of questions to ask them. Don't respond to anything they say. Let's not make it easy for them. |
