Election officials (both Dem and GOP) have asserted that this was one of the smoothest elections ever--if not the smoothest. Considering it was held during a pandemic, these heroes should be applauded, not doubted.

And those that continue to spout The Big Lie should be ashamed of themselves to fueling an attack on the government, and on democracy itself.

When is the DOJ going to intervene? The Arizona SOS has indicated there are federal election law violations.

3. I guess I fear a different motive from all this.

If people lose faith in all claims of election tampering, the field is ripe for tampering with impunity. If Republicans in charge of running an election could tamper with the results in their counties, they could take power for years to come. When the Democrats demanded recounts, they could be dismissed by reference to the current bogus recounts.

Something needs to be done about it. I cannot understand why the courts have not placed the many republican lawyers who brought these frivolous lawsuits regarding the election to the courts and the fact that they have not been punished. My understanding is that a lawyer can loose his/her license for introducing frivolous lawsuits, so where is the punishment? Why are they allowed to roam free from their misdeeds, where is the accountability?

This needs to stop, and unless punished they will continue with this charade.
