Former Trump senior advisor Stephen Miller has suggested Joe Biden was "dealt a better hand on day one" than any previous commander-in-chief.

Miller made the comments while speaking with Fox News host Sean Hannity and former White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, who served in that role under former President Donald Trump.

"No president in history has been dealt a better hand on day one than President Biden," Miller said on Thursday evening.
"Think about what President Trump left him and what it's become."

He then went on to tout areas in which Trump's allies and supporters have praised the former president on, before criticizing Biden's actions.
"He left him a Middle East that was at the dawn of a new peace. The most secure border in American history. Energy abundance, we had more energy than we knew what to do with. We had an economy that was primed to roar. We had a viable path towards a peace in Afghanistan. All of this and more was left at the doorstep for Joe Biden.
