'Call It What It Is: "The Radical Fascist Agenda"'

There are many a story written here about our messaging problems. Right now, in these dire circumstances, our messaging still needs major improvement.

One constant mistake we make is to always be on the defensive. They slam us time and again, while we rarely if ever do the same. Look at the current blowup about CRT: completely phony but all I see is us defending ourselves against their lies and hyperbole, reasoning with them about how they are misinterpreting what is going on. Misinterpreting and hyperbole is their bread and butter.

We need to go on offense. What’s one the most common against our side: that we are pushing a “radical socialist agenda”. Defense should be “Okay, if you mean supporting Social Security, Medicare, fair voting rights, and an economy that works for everyone, I agree with that agenda.” But why not boldly and brazenly call out their agenda for what it is: “a radical fascist agenda”. And it fits and it works because that is what it is.

They want to subvert our entire nation for a Trumpublican takeover, democracy and fair representation be damned. They are trying to take away the complete foundation of democracy, free and fair elections, and to put back in place the crazy strong man they have sold their souls to. Link Trump to strongmen like Castro, Chavez, and yes, even one Trump admires, Adolf Hitler.

Don’t argue nuance with them, just call out their lies and distortions and their policies of hate and fear, hate and fear. Its all they do, but we never say it. Finally, call what happened what it was, an attack on America. It was more dangerous than 9/11 because it was truly trying to overthrow our country, something Bin Laden could never dream of doing himself. And call Trump the dangerous would-be dictator that he is. -

1. I so agree with this.

We need to have one another's back on it. Each of us as individuals cannot successfully sustain this.

I'm ready to hit the streets.

I hope I will start seeing letters to the editor in my hometown paper, since about 1/3 - 1/4 of school board candidates state CRT is a key issue!
