I really like the Capehart show. Vaccine hesitancy/denial is pissing me off and I agree with his comments

Back in May, I got on an airplane and took a vacation because I felt that we had turn a corner on COVID. Right now, I would not make the same trip with the stupidity of the people refusing to be vaccinated and the Delta variant. We have a trip planned in December for my 65th birthday and I am getting nervous about that trip. I guess that I can hope that enough TFG supporters will be die off between now and then to force Fox News to switch to supporting vaccination.

2. I too, am 65 and my SO and I decided to go nowhere and instead, remain here in relative safety

at home. Why take chances, when you know the environment around home pretty well already and if you're on the road, you don't really know what is going on 100% at the vacation site/other destinations...and I think that this is on everybody's mind too, not just the travelers. It's on workers, restaurants, hotels, airline industry, all industries that rely on the tourist dollar. Especially when you see governors etc. of some particular states outlaw mask mandates, etc.

How crazy is that? If anything, that tells me immediately to avoid that entire state/area, in other words, that area is a sanctioned hot zone by incompetent governors who are listening to their rich buddies who are keeping their doors open regardless of the dangers so they can grab those few extra dollars.
