In January 2021, responding to a magazine article accusing him of sexual misconduct spanning a period of years, co-founder John Weaver acknowledged having sent inappropriate sexual messages to multiple men, for which he apologized.[31] According to The New York Times, Weaver offered young men professional support in exchange for sex; that report also accused him of cultivating a non-sexual online relationship with a fourteen-year-old boy and then engaging in "sexual banter" with him after his eighteenth birthday.[32] Following the revelations, the Lincoln Project said "John's statement speaks for itself".[33] It later issued a follow-up statement describing him as "a predator, a liar, and an abuser" and denouncing his "deplorable and predatory behavior".[31]

In February 2021, Jennifer Horn announced her resignation from the organization, citing Weaver's misconduct.[34] Later that month, the Lincoln Project announced plans for an external investigation to review Weaver's conduct during his tenure with the group.[35] That same day, Steve Schmidt and several other advisors also resigned.[36]

1. Lincoln Project's demise never happened. They're still alive and well.

There was a blowup in Jan/Feb that looked bad but they recovered almost immediately and are operating on all cylinders.

2. It is not .".alive and well.." All of its founders are gone, People that put it together are gone.

The Lincoln Project is totally different without its founders and people who made it work......
.New workers, new people running it....a scandal of major proportions.......That is my opinion & .....

He's doing freelance stuff now, as far as interviews go anyway.

He is at least somewhat still involved.

They're through the other side of the RW (AND LW) hits, and building again.

Finally, it's pretty weak sauce to be using Chris the Lizard to be making "hard-hitting points"
