"THEY'RE BOTH THE SAME!"
Lit up social media like an obnoxious corporate xmas display, & repeated by the millions!

Way back in 2016. And its STILL running.

Who knew we'd lose our humanity?

The selfishness and self-centered attitudes which were already there. And yes, the GOP was to blame for stoking it and making safety a political issue.

“When people feel that their attitudes reflect strong moral convictions, that gives them permission to dehumanize those who oppose them,” said Linda Skitka, a psychology professor at the University of Illinois at Chicago who’s researching ideological divides. “And it doesn’t take a lot for the shift into perceptions of good and evil. So if the other side is basically evil, it’s not a far stretch to say it’s OK to yell at them.”

That is how our former friends come to see us as evil even though nothing has changed about us.

We are an elected board. We’ve had some pretty contentious meetings but nothing like this. Of course I blame trump. The obnoxious had their very own president for four years. They’re emboldened and unleashed. Scary.

Are people more compassionate in the European countries hard hit by Covid?
How about Asia, especially India, so terribly affected?
South America, especially Brazil and Argentina? Chile? Peru?

Just asking..
I don't know the answers.

I have written this before. The Republicans are saying what the majority of Americans want to hear.
Hitler blamed the depression on the Jews and the German people agreed with him. And it wasn't just the Germans. They didn't have any problem finding Polish people to work in the concentration camps and the French helped them round up Jewish people living in France. In WWII we put American citizens of Japanese ancestry in camps and Americans agreed with it but did not arrest Germans living in this country. We didn't destroy fascism in WWII. This is a never-ending war between good and evil. Genocide is even considered a holy thing in the Old Testament. Look at the Protestant Reformation, Protestants and Catholics killing each other. I don't even know how many wars are being fought right now in the world. Fascism is growing not only in this country but around the world. And as climate change gets worse there won't be anything meaningful done to slow it down. The worse it gets the worse people will behave.
