Consumer Tip for the Day #1

.....................The Don't Lose It Table..........

Why?......I lose things around the house, here and there.................

.....So one table is designated as the ....DON'T LOSE IT TABLE..........................Designate any table in the house
as a "Don't lose it table"...any one will do...(Table needs to be empty at first...
..............Then, put the stuff, any stuff, tax forms that need to be worked on, important articles like pens, tax forms. papers, TV remote, or. whatever on that table.......................................... ..........Then every time you put that thing down, on that table, you won't lose it.......................................

But as the things he doesn't want to lose pile higher and higher, it becomes more and more difficult to weed out what he really needs when he needs it. That only works if you clean off the table occasionally.

4. Are non-consumers allowed to do this too?

Like, if I'm a citizen, or a retiree but I don't identify as a "consumer" because I'm frugal and careful with my money, can I still use this tip, or is it only for consumers?

(I hate being called a consumer. I trivializes my whole existence and relegates it to the role of last step in a extractive and exploitative chain of manufacturing and distributing useless crap for profit. I'm not part of that.)

I call it ‘the vertical file’. I have to turn the pile over every few years or it gets moldy on the bottom.

I have a file on Google Docs, "Where stuff is."

Where I put a tool, parts for camera, stuff like that.

---- garage, top shelf
basement, red cabinet,
attic, right hand shelf.

Items.... passport, keys to tool shed, key to safe box, rubber shoes to go into the river, sleeping bag and mattress pad.

and so forth
