1. This is an eye-opener for sure

This OP interview is based on the original Op-ed published in Truthout in November 2021.

The bad news is that many of our great American public libraries are dying a slow death.

3. There are many positives with public libraries

There are many positives with public libraries.

Programs for kids and adults.

Serendipity, where you may notice or find something aside from your original search.

5. The very thought's frightening, but most change is technology driven

in various ways as information and its dissemination are both exploding...beyond exponentially, by far most of it happening outside libraries and either openly available or by subscription. Libraries have been morphing big time of necessity anyway. We need to make sure the changes serve us even better than before and we don't lose what we shouldn't.
