Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez mocks Fox News analyst after he says Canadian government could have arrested Martin Luther King Jr.

tmitchell@insider.com (Taiyler Simone Mitchell) - 45m ago

. . .

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez mocked a Fox News contributor Jonathan Turley after he said that the Canadian government's clampdown on the truckers protesting vaccine mandates meant, "They could have arrested Martin Luther King" — not mentioning that during the civil rights movement of the 1950s and 1960s, King was arrested more than two dozen times.

"Fox News analysts already reaping the benefits of banning books, I see," she tweeted Tuesday, apparently referencing the recent uptick in efforts to ban books around race and sexuality.

Be sure to check AO-C's Tweet thread for a post to it showing Marjorie Taylor Green's photo. Wonderful comment!

I think both were at the Rolling Stones concert.
I heard that they will be attending a Ramones concert. None of the Ramones are really dead. They'll be playing at the trump-jfk jr inaguration

running a food truck taco stand.... says to say "hi" to everyone here.

I hate to report, he doesn't look too good..... gained more weight.....but it was good to hear him humming "South Of The Border" while filling taco shells. The beat of his humming picked up a bit when it came to the line about "her caramel thighs. - gotta admit, that line got me inspired a bit, too. I'd never paid much attention to the words before.

which he then proceeded to gobble down. Customers probably never even get their hands on the PBJ tacos.

However, I am pleased to report that the Velveeta, pinto bean, sausage, smothered with bacon drippings is excellent. But then too, you gotta get there early because after the P.B.J. tacos are exhausted, he commences on the Velveeta.

By 10 a.m., he is out of ingredients and its home for the day. He says, home is a small cabin, modeled after Ted Kazinsky's. No internet because he doesn't wanna be bothered by TicToc fans.

Actually, I'm surprised he talked to me.... I almost didn't recognize him with the Sanni Claus white beard he has.

.... Ontario to Detroit, Michigan because they have been reading Russian produced
disinformation on facebook is the same as MLK fighting for civil and voting rights
in Alabama by leading a march across the Edmund Pettus Bridge knowing that he
and his followers were facing beatings, fire hoses, dogs, and arrest?

Now people reading DU would see what a farce that analogy is but the brain dead
people who watch Fox News would think "that makes sense to me."
