Doesn't the first cartoon side with Republicans and misinterpret their obstruction as altruism?

I didn't look at it close enough, being the first one and all. I just saw the imagery and assumed. I think it's probably because I was focused on the Ron Paul KKK toon. I'll leave it up as an example of GOP misrepresentation.

Good catch.

Man, that is such a load----repukes trying to give us a year-long taxbreak, but stopped by us mean miserly Dems.....god, how can people stand being such liars??????? GRRRR!

Looked up Eric Allie's cartoons....they're your typical repulsive repuke/teabagging disinfo for dummies.

Hey, ellisonz---thanks for the toonage!!!! I didn't mean to be obnoxious--I was just going WTF??....but I understand what happened now.

The fact that the dems forced a 2 month extension at this critical time of year is very important. AND it does not preclude a one year extension, assuming that the teabagger members of congress actually start working rather than pouting.

I'm counting it as a win for the good guys. As far as I'm concerned, we can have this feud all the way to the ballot box.

But given that most of them are 1%ers, it is likely that they won't feel a sense of urgency to do anything or do their jobs. It's te sense if entitlement that goes along with being surrounded by sycophants.

As your picture seems to show. they are terribly fond of one another and likely of their owners.

The rest of us? Of that I remain unconvinced. As long as money is the determining factor it will ever thus be.
