Besides being creepy as hell..what is the point?

(7,733 posts)2. It was an actual ad Repubes ran against the ACA, among other creepy ones.
I think the point is now the Repubes are the ones interfering in women's healthcare, not the Democrats Obamacare.

(43,049 posts)3. Very simply, the creepiest pelvic exam you never hope to see...
Apparently put out by some not-friendly-to-women forces, I have no idea if it actually had a point when it first appeared.

(7,195 posts)4. The right-wing talking point during ACA debate was that government should not come between
a doctor and patient. Now, the right-wing Supreme Court has said that if you are a woman, it is okay for the government to come between patient and doctor where it involves reproductive issues.
The post is highlighting the hypocrisy. At least, that is how I see it.

(7,472 posts)6. The past (2013) is prologue.
This ad is brought to you by the same people who force Uncle Sam between our legs when it comes to reproductive health. It's un-American to mandate forced ultrasounds, restrict abortion care, and deny contraception coverage while trying to trick students into forgoing Obamacare, which will help them get preventative care and end gender discrimination in insurance coverage," said Ilyse Hogue, president of NARAL Pro-Choice America. "If this ad isn't a parody from The Onion, then Generation Opportunity needs to look up the definition of irony.
It is hard to tell if this is real or if its a Saturday Night Live parody about the hypocrisy of extremists who want to be in every exam room in America but dont want to expand access to quality health care," said Eric Ferrero, vice president for communications at Planned Parenthood Federation of America. "These are the same extreme Koch-funded political groups who have tried to pass transvaginal ultrasound laws and other laws allowing politicians to interfere with peoples personal medical decisions. These videos are the height of hypocrisy, but more importantly they are irresponsible and dangerous, designed to spread misinformation and discourage people from getting access to high quality, affordable health care.
